Who we are
GoPelion.com is about two family owned Guesthouses in Damouchari, “Victoria’s” & “Ghermaniko“.
Damouhari is a small, quiet and authentic greek fishing village located in the central-east part of Mount Pelion (East Pilio), in the heart of continental Greece.
Both hotels are situated right in front of the little and picturesque old harbour of Damouchari, Ghermaniko in the beginning and Victoria’s in the middle of it with a distance of about 30 meters between them. Just few steps walking and one can swim and snorkel in the clear waters.
Breakfast is served for all our guests at the big two-floor terrace at Victoria’s café just above the sea. All our rooms and apartments have their own balcony, where one can sit and enjoy the magnificent view of the bay.
Ghermaniko Guesthouse

Victoria's Guesthouse
"Victoria’s" Guesthouse is a traditional hostel situated in the centre of Damouchari’s harbour just in front of the Aegean Sea on the East Pelion Coast (Greece). It was built in 1997 and fully renovated again in 2012 with an aegean style that combines in a very beautiful way the natural materials and local tradition. Its elegant, friendly and cosy atmosphere together with the originality, comfort and simplicity that it offers, embrace every guest from the first moment!
Our breakfast
A rich, healthy breakfast awaits our guests, who can enjoy it for two hours every morning on the terrace of "Victoria's cafe" in the heart of the harbor. Natural flavours, local products and favorite Pelion recipes with the freshest and selected ingredients, organic and biological, create a purely greek and traditional breakfast.
Our main preoccupation is offering our visitors a unique experience of the culinary wealth of our region, based on the principles of "Mediterranean diet" and the locality and seasonality of our raw materials.

Enjoy the tranquility of Pelion landscape in periods ideal for walking and feeling close to nature, Spring, early Summer and Autumn. The mountain and the sea wait for you to enjoy them in all their glory away from the crowd of July and August. Our hostels "Ghermaniko" & "Victoria's" take care of that and offer you one night free during your stay!
Activities
Damouhari is a hidden treasure for those seeking for peaceful and serene getaways. Its natural harbor, the old commercial center for all East Pelion, is perfect starting point for "sea kayak" and SUP tours to the wild coastline. The historic trade trails that connected the village with other seaside or even more mountainous traditional Pelion villages are well known to walkers who enjoy "hiking" on the mountains and the sea. A small earthly paradise where "yoga" and meditation retreats take place in complete harmony with the natural environment.
Location
Damouhari's particular location on the sea and very close to the mountain offers a wide range of villages and beaches easily and quickly accessible on foot or by car, boat, kayak. The unique natural harbor of the whole area in an extremely virgin part of Pelion had been and has been a safeplace for many travellers from the Middle Ages till the present times.
Access
Damouchari is reachable by car, taxi or bus. The nearest city is Volos where public buses at least two every day (one early in the morning and one early in the afternoon) start towards the village called Aghios Ioannis. From Aghios Ioannis Damouhari is about 30 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car. Flights from all over the world land to Athens International Airport “Elefterios Venizelos” (ATH) or Thessaloniki’s International Airport “Makedonia” (SKG). From the smaller National Airports Anchialos-Volos airport (VOL) is the closest with charter flights and then Skiathos airport (JSI).
